Friendly wait staff. Food is amazing! Cozy atmosphere, and wait times are decent!

This is one of the best Monday spots in HRM. The food is fresh and amazing! The owner cooks Mondays and every time we find his food amaxing. Try hot turkey sandwich or the haddock dinner or the club house. Amazing! The owner chef knows how to cook- call ahead to be sure he is on the grill.

This is a great family restaurant with regular family-type meals which are tasty and not too pricey. They offer senior's portions too which my husband and I appreciate. We often pop in for supper. When I was there last Christmas with a group of women the staff at McKay's went out of their way to make it fun and even sang Christmas carols with us.
